The new Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital Orthopaedics & Spine Pavilion opened on Jan. 11 at 5665 Peachtree Dunwoody Road. With the consolidation of all orthopaedics and spine services at Emory Saint Joseph’s, the facility will provide a comprehensive, seamless patient care experience in one location.
Located in the Harrison Pavilion on the hospital’s campus, the Orthopaedics & Spine Pavilion has been completely renovated to include six operating suites and patient- and family-centered preparation and recovery areas. The facility was designed to meet the needs of each patient while also providing a smooth transition from pre-admission testing through each phase of surgical care.
Inpatient and outpatient procedures at the Orthopaedics & Spine Pavilion include general orthopaedics, joint replacement, spine, elbow and shoulder, knee and hip, and foot and ankle. The Pavilion also offers minimally-invasive and robotic-assisted approaches for select procedures.
“The Orthopaedics & Spine Pavilion is the next progressive step in providing innovative orthopaedic care in our community, and we are pleased to offer specialized care for the benefit of our patients in one convenient location on campus,†says Heather Dexter, CEO of Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital.
The multidisciplinary team at the Orthopaedics & Spine Pavilion is composed of orthopaedic and spine doctors, nurses and physical therapists.
