Arthritis &Total Joint Specialists is expanding into Midtown Atlanta and Gwinnett County with its newest locations in the Northside Medical building and in Lawrenceville. Dr. Jeremy Statton joins the medical practice’s team of orthopedic and joint replacement experts in Midtown, and Dr. Robert Wood began seeing patients in Lawrenceville in January.
Dr. Statton is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in minimally invasive hip and knee replacement for patients suffering from chronic joint pain and arthritis. He uses the latest in minimally invasive surgery, including partial knee replacement and the direct anterior approach for total hip replacement.
Dr. Statton has traveled the world to provide patient care, treating patients in Africa on multiple occasions, and is active in making presentations to advance the understanding of anterior hip replacement and total knee replacement.
Dr. Wood is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hip, knee and ankle replacement for patients suffering from chronic joint pain and arthritis. He is extensively experienced in outpatient total joint replacement and uses the latest minimally invasive surgical techniques, including anterior hip replacement and partial knee replacement.
In addition to providing patient care, Dr. Wood has published his research on orthopedic surgery and contributed to several textbooks. He has clinical interests in bio absorbable fixation for tendon transfers, total ankle replacement, the use of modular prosthesis in revision hip replacement and direct anterior total hip replacement.
