Alliance Spine and Pain Centers welcomes double board-certified anesthesiologist and pain management specialist, Dr. Richard Gayles, to its staff. Dr. Gayles is now seeing patients at the Camp Creek, Douglasville, and Piedmont/Atlanta locations while also offering regenerative medicine services at the Piedmont/Atlanta location.
Spearheading Alliance Spine and Pain Center’s regenerative medicine service line, Dr. Gayles provides state-of-the-art care through personalized, innovative treatment plans designed to utilize the body’s natural ability to heal.
“Understanding the limitations of existing technologies and techniques compelled me to seek better outcomes for patients, which led me to regenerative medicine,” Dr. Gayles says. “The field of regenerative medicine is revolutionizing healthcare by improving the body’s ability to heal.”
A graduate of the University of Michigan School of Medicine, Dr. Gayles completed his anesthesia residency at Johns Hopkins followed by a pain fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. His training also included a year abroad in London studying anesthesiology and critical care at the St. Bartholomew’s Hospital.
Dr. Gayles has a passion for regenerative medicine, which is therapy designed to stimulate the body’s natural healing process and includes stem cell therapy, platelet rich plasma (PRP), alpha 2 macroglobulin (A2M), bone marrow aspirate concentrate (BMAC), adipose-derived stem cell banking, stromal vascular fraction (SVF), exosomes therapy, and em-suite. This service line offers an opportunity for those seeking safe, non-surgical alternatives that could potentially eliminate the need for invasive procedures.
