On September 18, the Georgia Aquarium’s ballroom will be filled with national and regional healthcare leaders sharing and exchanging ideas and information for this year’s Health Connect South.
The speaker list is a who’s who and includes: Dr. Hilary Marston, Chief Medical Officer of the US Food & Drug Administration; Candice Saunders, CEO & President of Wellstar Health System; Leigh Hamby, Chief Medical Officer for Piedmont Healthcare; and Dr. Kathleen Toomey, Commissioner of Georgia Department of Public Health.
And, that’s just the beginning. The event will feature more than 50 speakers addressing a variety of important topics, including: access to care, technology and innovation, workforce development, health disparities, academic medicine, mental health and much more.
The mission of Health Connect South is to serve the health community as a platform to promote regional health collaborations. Through collective work, the event seeks to define and advance the Southeast’s role in the future of health. Serving as a gateway between health industry silos, the organizers seek to facilitate unique and meaningful partnerships.
