Board-certified radiation oncologist Elesyia Outlaw-Evans, MD, has joined City of Hope Atlanta’s physician team. She has held positions in radiation oncology with the healthcare organization since 2019 at locations in Tulsa, OK, and Phoenix, AZ.
Dr. Outlaw-Evans has extensive experience in intracavitary and interstitial brachytherapy. She is also trained to use the Cyberknife® system and hypo-fractionated radiation therapy, as treatment options for patients.
“My goal is to serve as a partner for patients throughout their treatment journey and understand each individual’s needs and goals,” says Dr. Outlaw-Evans. “I enjoy working closely with my patients to provide personalized treatment to improve their quality of life.”
Dr. Outlaw-Evans earned her medical degree at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed an internal medicine internship at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. She completed her residency in radiation oncology at Siteman Cancer Center, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
In addition, Dr. Outlaw-Evans has been published in several leading research journals and is a member of multiple professional medical organizations, including the American Society for Radiation Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Brachytherapy Society.
