University Cancer & Blood Center (UCBC), an oncology and hematology practice for Northeast Georgia, is now welcoming patients to its Comprehensive Breast Health Center.

UCBC’s Comprehensive Breast Health Center is the homebase of its Comprehensive Breast Health Program, a customized, personal approach to breast cancer treatment and prevention led by Dr. Gunn and Dr. Ashley Ray. It features a complete staff of highly qualified and dedicated specialists providing individualized care. This complete and multidisciplinary approach includes surgical care, medical oncology, radiation oncology, and imaging with screening and diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound.

Services include a high-risk screening program that combines advanced technology with expert clinical assessment to determine a woman’s lifetime risk of breast cancer. Features include risk assessment using multiple computerized models to achieve the most accurate results. Additional care includes physical examinations, genetic counseling and testing as indicated, and risk-reducing strategies.
